Dr. Arrvinthan.SU is a skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in Salem, Tamilnadu with expertise in Cranio-maxillary Surgery handling, Facial Trauma, Orthognathic Surgery, Face and Jaw Cyst and Tumors. His clinical proficiency also includes CMF reconstruction for trauma, benign lesions and post mucormycosis defects, along with TMJ surgeries; Oral Surgical procedures and Dental Implantology. He subsequently pursued his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under the mentorship of renowned OMF Surgeon Prof.Dr.S.Jimson, at Tagore Dental College and Hospital, also affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University. As a part of his residency training, he gained valuable clinical exposure through an observership at the “Adyar cancer institute (WIA)”, Chennai. Following his Residency, he joined Vivekanandha Dental College, Tiruchengode as an Assistant Professor in 2022. He has also been actively involved in private clinical practice in Salem and currently heads the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at AVM Hospitals. Additionally, he serves as a Visiting consultant across multiple hospitals in Tiruchengode, Rasipuram and Salem. He got trained in Basic Implantology from Prof. Dr. Gunaseelan Rajan, at Rajan Dental Institute, Chennai. In 2024, He got Trained in Zygoma, Nasalis and Pterygoid Implants from Prof.Dr.Johnson Raja at Implantree Dental, Chennai. In 2025, he successfully cleared the Indian Board of Implantology (IAOI) exams, and was awarded Fellowship in Indian Board of Implantology – FIBI. Dr. Sri Dharshini Balasundaram is an Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologist and Smile design Specialist based in Salem, Tamil Nadu, with a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and diagnostic sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) From Vivekanandha Dental College for Women, affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR. Medical University. She is currently pursuing her postgraduate training (MDS) in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral microbiology at the same institution, where she is actively involved in advanced diagnostic procedures, Histopathological and molecular biology techniques primarily focusing on the cancer and cancer based research. During her residency programme, she underwent specialized clinical exposure in Dermatopathology, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. She gained valuable observership in Oncopathology at the “Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA)”, Chennai enhancing her experience in cancer biology and advanced Molecular techniques. She has also conferred the Fellowship in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry (FAAD) from ILAMED institute affiliated to University of Greifswald, Germany in recognition of her skills in cosmetic and restorative dental care. She has also been actively involved in private dental practice in Salem and currently heads the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology at AVM Hospitals.
